I thought I would try it out on a notoriously messy food first and really put it to the test. I turned up the heat and really got the bacon popping, and there wasn't a drop of grease to clean up on the stovetop afterwards! Cleaning the Splatterdom was a breeze as well. Excited to keep using it and saving time on cleaning afterwards!

I’ve been using this product for some time, and I tell you, I’ve owned the metal wall, mesh, frywall, EVERYTHING. Nothing works as well as my SplatterDōm, nothing goes in the microwave (bye bye plastic guard where everything still spills onto the microwave spinning tray), nothing works without having to sacrifice protection for moving to stir, protects against boil-over. This is worth EVERY PENNY!

We’ve been using our Spaltter Döms for about 2 years now and use them all the time–more than I expected. One use that I find them surprisingly effective for is to steam asian-style dumplings. We put our bamboo steamer above our deep frying pan full of water. The SD forms a perfect seal to keep the steam in the steamer baskets.

I’ve been contemplating a review about this for a while and now I realize, it is BY FAR better than anything else in the market. I like that it’s zero plastic and you can tell by its weight that it is not a cheaply made piece of garbage. Good job.
